Funny Face
Last few days have been a bear for Bianca and Isaac as the Outside Boy and his mommy couldn't go outside because of the persistent rain. When I came home last night we were forced to scrap the last walk of the day. Instead we did all kinds of things to distract CB. This included a Dad-favorite, the flashlight show, and an everyone-favorite time in the Baby Bjorn. But it was the last thing of the day that kept him the happiest--a twenty minute fart session with Dad.
CB was strapped in to the Baby Bjorn and Mom and CB were in the kitchen. Dad was making fart noises (not actual farts, unfortunately) and CB started watching. It built slowly over about five minutes but eventually he was letting out minutes of continuous laughter--truly belly laughs. For about ten minutes I was the funniest person in the world.
Then he got tired and we went upstairs. But it was yet another moment I will never forget. For once, someone found fart noises as funny as I do (though I think I could safely include Myles and Domenic in the club as well). It also struck me that I would have done that for the rest of the day if he would have kept laughing.
It is great being a Dad.
