Whew...what a weekend
Bianca, Isaac, and Dad had a very pleasant Sunday after the bustle of the Pig Roast on Saturday. We hung out and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We played a lot, read Harry Potter when Isaac was eating, and iChatted with the Grands when Dad was trying to give Isaac his bottle (which he wanted nothing to do with). Even the sight of the bottle coming close to his lips would send him into a tizzy. He did eat though, as Mom came to the rescue around 10:15 AM.
We also went for a walk around the grounds of a very nice (though very expensive) school in Fitchburg called the Applewild School. It is very nice. The kids have a garden and a compost pile for dirt. They have a climbing wall in one of the two gyms. They have a brand new building for the elementary school. They have wood working shop (with tons of nice tools) donated by Woodmeister (seriously click that link, OMG!). It is quite nice and not that far from our house (like a five minute car ride). They even have a quaint little sports field across the way, hidden in a stand of trees. All of the Harry Potter reading made this field feel like the Quidditch field at Hogwarts.
During our little jaunt I snapped this picture, which, even though limited by the iPhone's lack of resolution, looks great because of the subject and the lighting, early evening in fall.

That is one happy, blue eyed boy.
After that we came home and relaxed. Dad gave Isaac a flashlight show (shining the lights on the ceiling and moving them around and changing their brightness) while Mom got things ready for her awesome Mac and Cheese (which is working on right now as I type this, filling the house with attention grabbing aromas). Once that was done we went for a walk only to be sent back by a bit of rain (a little) and a Striped Skunk (a lot of motivation).
It was, again, an amazing weekend. I have noticed that all I need for such a weekend is my boy and Bianca. The rest just falls into place on its own.
