Heads Up

Everyday Ethan Beethan's little noggin gets more and more independent of his shoulders.  He can do tummy time for what seems like an eternity and it is not just the newborn version of tummy time where they lay there like a slug on the ground.  Nope, this is real tummy time where Ethan is looking around like a soldier sticking his head out of a foxhole.

But its not just tummy time that changed.  He can now comfortably sit in his little green peapod chair.  Last night while Bianca was getting bedtime stuff ready, I was bathing Isaac and Ethan was chillin' in his chair watching all of the commotion.  He even whacked a couple of the toys on the chair's tray.

He can't quite sit up on his own, he is still a bit too much of a drunken sailor for that, but he is getting close.  When all of this progress happened with Isaac we had no idea what we were watching.  We were too terrified of everything to enjoy and appreciate it.  Now, with a bit more confidence and experience we are just delighting in how amazingly little babies are.  He went from potato to baby in no time at all.  Few things in the world are more interesting or exciting than watching babies acquire new skills, especially when they are your kids.
