Isaac HATES Gloves

Isaac loves to be outside doing just about anything.  Unfortunately, it has been cold and so he has to wear his gloves.  At school they go outside almost everyday and everyday Isaac has to put on his gloves.  The teachers say it is a real struggle for him to keep them on.  They have found ways to fasten them on so they don't come off, but it is really an arms race.  Recently they figured out a way to tuck in the velcro strap so that once it was on he couldn't pull the strap and undo the gloves.  Stymied but not defeated, Isaac went over to the fence that separates the little guys from the bigger kids and asked one of them for help to undo the gloves.  Before an accomplice could be found, Isaac's little scheme was discovered and stopped by the teachers.

I want him to wear his gloves, of course, but as a Dad I am impressed with his craftiness.  I only can hope he forgets to be this crafty when he is a teenager.
