Digital Masterpieces
Isaac's exploration of the iPad has taken all sorts of interesting twists and turns. Here are a pair of masterpieces made using the Elmo App's digital finger painting:
This one is entitled "Elmo and Existential Anxiety: A Heideggerian Commentary on the Being of an 20 Month Old":
I told Isaac that sounded a bit pretentious, but he was insistent telling me "no, no, no...".
Here is the second work, entitled: "Hungry, NOW!" which is a bit less complex and more to the point:
Isaac told me he modeled his use of primary colors after Kandinsky, but hoped to capture some of the fluidity of Picasso or Pollock in his strokes. I told him his grandparents would love it either way.
