Isaac and Dad 4 day weekend
He is a lot of work. He gets into everything. He wants to see everything up close and personal, even the toilet. He has added a whole range of new grunts and screams to ensure he gets what he wants. And at the end of the day, your exhausted. But it is all worth it. Every scream and every toilet splash.
Because of a quirk in the schedule I got to be with Isaac Anthony pretty much all day, every day for the past four days. Bianca had class on Friday and Monday and was under the weather on Saturday. So it was Dad and the little guy for four straight days with Mom hanging and helping on Sunday. It was completely awesome and a privilege to see him in his full glory for that many days in a row.
We did a bunch of stuff--playground, Coggshall, and Bass Pro Shop (which is a great place for kids).
Playground:

Coggshall:

and Bass Pro Shop's giant fireplace:
He loved the giant fireplace, the stuffed game, and the HUGE fish tank. Here he is at the fish tank:
Here he is at the toy gun rack (I swear I did not promote this. He found it and loved it all on his own. It must be genetic for all little boys because there was a crowd of toddlers all with mothers that had worn expressions and fathers with that secret, but not secret grin of glee and a "dash of I told you so"):
Thanks buddy. I will miss you at work today.
