Movin' on Up...
Isaac, like the Jeffersons, is moving on up, but instead of going to the East Side, he is going to the First Steps room. He is being reunited with his buddies, Colin, Avery, and Olivia, but it was only a test run for 30 minutes and there is another kid ahead of him in line to go the First Steps room, but still he is getting bigger.
Mom is also in the process of retiring the bottle. Isaac did so well with the pacifier, dumping it after about two months, that we don't want him to hang on to the bottle, especially after Bianca worked so hard to breastfeed. So that too is a sign of change.
Finally, we are starting to puzzle out some of Isaac's words and sounds. He is saying the same sounds pretty consistently and he understands a TON of words, but we aren't quite up to his speed yet. We think he is clearly saying "What's that?" when points, but it comes out like "Wizat."
The only constant is change.
