Isaac's Adoptive Brother Earns Opening Day Nod

As many of you know Jon Lester is my favorite player in baseball right now and even though he is just 6 years younger than me and undoubtedly more highly compensated, I would, if possible adopt him. Yes I know he has both his parents, but his story of a star prospect struck down by cancer and making a comeback is just too appealing, even for a stat person, like myself, to ignore. His four plus pitches don't hurt either.

Anyway, he was named Boston's starter on Opening Day. Isaac told me to let his adoptive brother know we are all proud of him. I can't wait for spring time and the beginnings of Isaac's baseball apprenticeship. I only hope I am as good as my baseball teacher, my Dad, was.
