Busting out new tricks
Isaac can do a lot. In the past week or so, however, his abilities have grown by leaps and bounds. Here is a short list of new tricks:
1. Rolling all of the way over
2. Rolling back to front
3. Catching a rolling ball with his hands
4. Righting himself to sitting up even from a toe touch (or more)
5. Reaching for things beyond his legs while sitting down
6. Clapping his hands
7. Signing "more"
The last one was really amazing. I was feeding him last night--squash and bananas and a side of Yo Baby--and I made the sign "more" and asked if he wanted more Yo Baby. He looked at me and put his chubby hands together and then reached for the Yo Baby. The first time I thought it was a coincidence or a half clap. But he did it two more times during that feeding. I think he is getting close to being able to regularly and repeatedly sign "more". It was the first question and answer. And it was pretty freakin' cool.
He will be able to dazzle his Nanna and G-Daddy with all kinds of new tricks when they arrive tonight and he wakes up tomorrow morning.
