New Parents are Dorks
So yesterday Mr. Poo Poos decided to sleep in a little. He woke up at 6:30 for his first feeding and then promptly went back to bed, as he usually does, before starting his day in earnest at 9:00. Unfortunately, he was still asleep at 9:30. So what do new parents do when waiting for their little one to wake up? Look at pictures of him. We browsed the pictures on Flickr, which is really cool, especially if you select the slideshow option. He has really changed a lot. Funny thing is his cheeks seemed to pop into existence over night.

It was like one day he is Paul Newman in his prime, the next he was Brando from the Godfather.
Well, after figuring that out, we were about ready to go crazy. I was really chomping at the bit because it was delaying our reading of Green Eggs and Ham and Hop on Pop. Anyway, we decided to open his door to see if the ambient noise of the house would wake him up. Nothing. So we tiptoed in and decided to watch the little booger sleeping. It included the line all new mothers say when their kid is still sleeping: "Can you go in and check if he is still breathing?" I did and of course he was not just breathing, but baby snoring. Having made my way into his room, I got this footage with Mommy present as well. Enjoy, we sure did:
Also we uploaded some new pictures to Flickr. I am posting this picture just so people know that we don't have a stunt baby come in and take only cute pictures of Isaac. This is Isaac's first ever picture taken with a flash and he totally lost it. He was crazy excited and even lunged at the camera, as you can see here:

Actually, here is a cute one from the same photo op (and yes, he is looking at his Mommy, she is the only one that consistently elicits such admiration and adoration):
