Cool, Rainy Day
Last night we went to Cherry Hill Orchard. We texted one of my work friend's Sarah Newhall, to see if she and her husband Kevin would like to meet up with us and bring their son Jacob with them. They accepted and we met up at the ice cream place around 7:30. I have seen Jacob probably once every three months for his entire life, including one time in a ridiculously cute Halloween costume (he went as a snail, complete with shell and everything). Sarah has been incredibly helpful with baby questions--she is the human embodiment of baby knowledge, sort of a mom wikipedia. She sent us a series of nine emails when we first found out we were pregnant on baby products and I used them as a guide. They were invaluable. Better than any other advice we received from books and magazines. Jacob was super cute, toddling around with a big boy hair cut. We looked around for a baby Abraham, to complete the Biblical Patriarchs (the name of Jacob and Isaac's band when the grow up), but there were none, as Abraham seems to have fallen out of use (183 in 2009 according to SSI). It would be awesome if Jacob and Isaac grew up being friends.
Today though was a lazy, cold day. What do to? It is Sunday, it is raining out and it is about 65 degrees? Well, we decided to spend the day staring at and playing with Isaac. He is very entertaining, you know. We iChatted twice with Nanna and G-Daddy, including once when GGs were present as well as Uncle Rob and Auntie Monica (with a swell hat). Isaac had some more push up tummy time. It was a nice, quiet day.
