So Nanna, G-Daddy (which appears to have stuck), Aunt Monica, and Uncle Rob all flew in for Isaac's baptism, though it was meet and get for Monica and Rob and Isaac. It was a bustling couple of days with a trip to Logan almost every day, but it was really nice. On Saturday Bianca made her world-famous (or soon to be) Crunchy Guacamole from (a recipe she reverse engineered from a great Worcester restaurant Mezcal). We also had fajitas and they were delicious. Everyone sitting around the table, talking and laughing with people taking turns carrying Isaac. It was one of the best moments you can have. It helped that Isaac was an angel the entire dinner. For about 30-40 minutes he just sat in his crib and Boppy and watched everyone.

We also showed Rob and Monica a video on being godparents. Here it is:

After that we had the Baptism at Our Lady of the Lake. The parish was incredibly welcoming and Isaac did okay. Not great, but decent. The mass went on, and as they normally do, kids go to a separate place and do church stuff. They rejoin the parish about twenty minutes later. As they did, one cute as a button little girl, probably no older than 8, came by and said "Welcome" to Isaac. It was super sweet. Here is a picture from the ceremony (with many more in the Flickr August file):

When we went to the orientation, the lady said she could reserve a pew for us. Both Bianca and I laughed. She then asked how many people would be there and we told her around 30-35. Then she laughed. Well, we were right. Bianca's amazing family, all of them (except for Anthony, who was out getting a tattoo, just kidding) were there.

After that we came back to the house and had a party. It was a combined Birthday Party for Monica and a party for Isaac. Here is how Bianca gracefully merged the two in one cake:

How's that for clever?

Domenic and I noticed that we both shopped at the "I'm a Dad and don't care about my clothes anymore" store as seen here:

I think I always shopped there. Now I have a legitimate excuse.

Once the party ended we did some quiet time with Isaac. Here is Auntie Monica and Isaac becoming BFFs:

Isaac did wake up in time for a dance party with all the Sculimbrenes present. Here is the video of the dance party:

Then, Rob decided to help out with Dance Party. I wonder if any of the folks at Microsoft know that he is THIS good a dancer. Well, here you go MS folks:

Rob is holding him as if he were made of nitroglycerin.

It was sad when everyone went home, but we were all glad they could come. It was incredibly awesome to share my son with my sister and her husband. She was my best friend (through the fights) for 20 years and now she got to meet my newest best friend.
