Sick Kid and Super Mom

Isaac had the beginnings of an ear infection yesterday so Mom left work early and picked him up.  The doctor closed at 4:45 so Mom did double time to get to Auburn and then back to Leominster in time.  If you know anything of Bianca though you know that the fabric of spacetime itself bends to her will, especially when the Little Guy is involved.  Needless to say, she got him there in time and got his meds.

Then today the pair stayed home.  It was a great day outside, around 65, the first day of Spring, so even a sick Isaac still played back in the dirt lot behind our house a.k.a. Sticks and Rocks.  They played outside today for more than two and half hours.  When I got home Isaac was in good spirits as was Mom. 

This kid will wear you out when you have both parents and he is feeling good.  A single parent and a sick kid will wipe you out for sure.  But Bianca, Super Mom, she did great.  Nothing like a day of being pampered by your Mom to turn a cold around.
