Holy Cow!
In the past three days Isaac has, as has always happened, made quick and surprising developmental advances. I used think, before I had a kid, that they gradually learned to do things. But now I know it is more like "SURPRISE! Look what I can do!"
So what has he done?
1. He now as a sliver of enamel poking through his gums on the lower right hand side. A tooth is on the way.
2. He has been able to hold his bottle for a while now, around four or five months this happened, but now he can do the same with his sippy cup. Last night it was on the table in front of him and he reached out, grabbed it, took a swig (throwing his head back even) and then put it down on the table again. It was like he was chugging a shot, but instead of bourbon it was a sweet apple juice/water mix known in our house as Ju-Juice.
3. He has figured out how to squirt with his bath toys. He even knows how to fill them up, by dunking them in water and squeezing the air out.
Wonder what he is going to do next?
