First Day of Daycare
Isaac and I had a chat around 7:15 AM yesterday, mano a mano, and we agreed that as the primary members of the Bianca Defense Force, that we have to take care of Mommy on this most sensitive of days. Isaac wanted me to check in with his Mommy every once in a while during the day, so I promised to call her. I told him that in exchange he could not cry when she left. He said okay. We both kept up our ends of the agreement.
Isaac did great. He played with the other kids. He played with their dozens of toys. And he did not cry once. Mom did great too. We spoke throughout the day and it seems like Day 1 was a success. We'll take it one day at a time from here on out, but cross off the worst day.
Bianca, again, is my hero.
